I was lucky enough to perform in a benefit reading of Jane: Abortion and the Underground by Paula Kamen, for the organization A is For, which fights for reproductive rights. The reading starred Cynthia Nixon, Monique Coleman, Kathy Najimy, and Ana Gasteyer, and was directed by Julie Kline.
My short play WINNER was one of the top 12 plays in the Samuel French Off-Off Broadway Festival this summer. It was such an honor to be a part of the festival! Directed by Kevin R. Free, starring Caturah Brown and Dave Chura, produced by Evangeline Whitlock, and stage managed by Khrystal Agard.
The New Galileos was a part of Theatre Resources Unlimited’s new play reading series in June, directed by Mia Walker, with an incredible cast of Lisa Ramirez, Constance Shulman, Ginna Le Vine, and Sharlene Cruz. Read more about the series at BroadwayWorld.
Such an unbelievable week with Walden at Premiere Stages - a fabulous, smart cast (Rachel Claire, Liba Vaynberg, and Maurice Jones) - directed by Mia Walker. The play took leaps and bounds in its development and we had three successful readings!
WALDEN was named Runner Up in the Premiere Play Festival, so it will be given a developmental workshop at Premiere Stages in June, directed by Mia Walker. Tickets will be available starting May 1st. Check it out
